Welcome to this - our opus of absurdity. Each week on a Tuesday night at a basement bar in Harrisonburg VA we host a friendly little gameshow we call, Bingo Is Life!
We spin the Wheel of Fate, we ponder the Skulls of Destiny, we unleash the potential of paper airplanes. And we sing about Bingo Heaven while we play Bingo.
After the show, we get together with our talented friends Jay, Britney, and Christian to discuss the zeitgeist of the day. Our podcast is hyper local but universally accessible to anyone with a slight penchant for lively discussions on music, comedy, history, games, and of course- the scene in our little town of Harrisonburg Virginia.
Join us and enjoy the simple pleasure of living in a small town full of the most interesting and the most mundane. Take a break from the politics and any semblance of serious discussion. Laugh about something silly with us. Hearing is believing.

Gina is another vibrant participant in Harrisonburg’s theatre scene, and is also a mother, a friend, and an adamant supporter of local art.
While our conversation focuses on Theatre, the bigger realization is how positive an art-inspired life can be. The true value of expressive art is often found in the fervent discovery of simply being human. Oh the light, the light, the light!

This week Chris and Mike honor Gramma Howdyshell! Over twenty years ago, at a family get together, we had the opportunity to hear Gramma sing a few songs on the porch. Fortunately we had an old cassette recorder nearby and happened to catch a few songs!
We decided to share the moment with you, in all its unpolished splendor. Gramma had a cold that day, was playing an unfamiliar guitar, and our recording equipment was less than ideal… But even in this raw recording, her personality, charm and enduring spirit shine through.
